Heritage Days...the time for a town to showcase who they are. The day started off with a parade and ended with the outhouse races. Yes, this little town is only one of the few in the entire world that is proud to proclaim they have an annual outhouse race. There are two groups, men and ladies, then each group is timed. It's quite the event, let me tell you. Everyone was out and ready to celebrate this day. A parade, raffles, a car show, book sales, craft sale, bake tables, a few people even had their garage sales going. And then, finally the outhouse races. All in all, a very fun day :) I was so happy to be able to go out and photograph this day.
I thought this family was just too cute! The backward hats, even on the baby! Then as you looked on the back of the tractor, there was the diaper bag. Adorable!
